It offers chapters tailored to the special stresses of spouses, parents, children and siblings who, like the parent, must live with epilepsy. Highly recommended.

The book explains about epilepsy through Chris's eyes and talks about the challenges he faces. It is an inspirational story that every child who has epilepsy should read. Kids ages 6-8 years old.

Author, Deborah M. Moss Illustrated by Carol Schwartz This book is about a rabbit named Lee who discovers that she has absence seizures. The book follows Lee’s adventures and unfolds a touching story of how she and her family face her epilepsy. Lee the Rabbit with Epilepsy is a light and bright book that children ages from 4 to 7 will enjoy.

My Friend Emily- A story about epilepsy and friendship
Author, Susanne M. Swanson Illustrated by Paul Hart My friend Emily is narrated by Katy who tells a story about her friend Emily and how she lives with epilepsy. This book talks about epilepsy in terms easy to understand and includes a short piece on First-Aid procedures. The lesson that any child will get from this book is acceptance of others and the power of friendship. This book is ideal for children ages 6 to 8.
