SURVEY QUESTIONNAIRE AND RESULTS

1. After a seizure, provincial regulatory bodies may revoke the drivers license of a person with epilepsy. (14.5%, 2nd place)
2. The use of strobe lights in television and video games can cause seizures in some people. (4.5%, 8th place)
3. In many movies, books and television shows, persons with epilepsy are portrayed as being crazy or evil. (20.5%, 1st place)
4. Very little research is being done regarding the value of special needs dogs in helping to prevent injury in people with epilepsy. (1.5%, 11th place)
5. Some people with epilepsy cant afford their medication.(13%, 3rd place)
